Variety, and Other Experiments
With something abysmal like 4 kills in December, and even more shamefully, ZERO mission runner kills so far in 2011, it would appear that I’m in a bit of a rut.
While this isn’t entirely true (ok, it’s a little true) a big part of my apparent lack of activity has been exploring some new ideas. Am I burnt out on shooting at shooty carebears? Hardly, but variety keeps things interesting. What exactly these “varieties” are I’m keeping a lid on for now, but suffice it to say, there’s a reason I’ve got more than one account ;).
The downside however to having a blog dedicated to chronicling the execution and aftermath of your shenanigans is the inevitable lull before said shenanigans are finished.
So, this is me saying “I’m not dead”, I’ve just been up to no good; which, from the prospective of this blog, is good.
I also sincerely want to thank Seismic Stan for naming this blog the Best Eve Ninja Blog out there in his Free Boot Awards. I started F&K about a year and a half ago totally unsure of what I was doing and with only the vaguest ideas of where it would go. So seeing it on a list with some of the most vaunted blogs in the Eve blog-sphere written by some seriously talented writers is humbling to say the least ( on a completely unrelated note, Stan your bri…er…donation is in the mail ). And while we’re on the subject of humble, as my buddy Rixx Javix also pointed out, Stan somehow neglected to mention or give awards to his own blog, which is consistently hilarious, smart, and full of some seriously creative and tongue-in-cheek IC posts. He’s been on my go-to reading list for a long time now, and if you haven’t already, I highly recommend adding Freebooted to yours.
I’m on RL vacation right now in California (conveniently returning right after the final portion of Incarna drops), which although sadly means no logging in, does means cranking out a ton of blog-posts. So, watch this space for some fun stuff soon. Coming up next: “Suddenly, Violence?”

Thanks for the endorsement Aiden. Although if you’re going to encourage your readership to pop over my way, I may need to look into better security. 😉
I’m looking forward to reading more of your promised shenanigans when you get back from your hols.
