Seeing as we’re in the thick of it with it being time to vote for the new CSM, I thought I’d take a moment and generally shoot my mouth off about who I’m voting for, in hopes that you’ll see the unrivaled clarity in my opinions and vote the same way.
I actually find myself a little torn this time around with who to spend those votes on, seeing as in addition to having a member of Suddenly Ninjas in the running, there are also quite a few other seriously qualified candidates who I think would do amazing things for this game given the chance. So, the following is a list of three candidates who I’ll be voting for and actively endorsing. Read on:

For the first time since, well, ever, we have a true-blue, card-carrying member of Suddenly Ninjas on the ballet! Now I can tell you, this kid has an ego almost as big as his mouth, but you don’t have to talk to him for more than 5 minutes to understand his true and absolute love of this game. We’re all fanboys (and girls); its why we keep shelling out $14 a month to log into New Eden every single day. But its guys like Arden that wrap their heads around it in whole new ways. A huge part of the way we do things in SN is thinking outside the box, and Jef continuously impresses me in his ability to adapt to new situations and think beyond the present.
Arden’s ideas for the bettering of this game go far beyond the niche “ninja salvager” or “high sec griefer” voter-base, but actually encompass game issues that effect players of all walks of Eve. I feel that besides being the youngest player on the ballet, Jef Keunen represents an fresh outlook and impressive convictions on a game that we all love.

The guy helped create Eve Online. Literally. I’m not really sure what else there is to say ;).
Mark has been a major voice for balance issues, lag, and null warfare since leaving his three year employment at CCP as a developer. A voice like this on the CSM would be unparalleled (also it feels like the plot-line of “Gladiator”. Mark Heard = Russel Crow; think about it.)

Its really hard not to like Mike. In spite of the fact that he totally blew up our spot with his expose on Suddenly Ninjas tactics with griefing Insursion fleets, its creatively fueled discussions like that on the finer mechanics and intricacies of this game that make me know unquestionably that Mike would be an asset to the CSM.
To me, Mike always seems like that cool dad at the neighborhood bbq. He’s that guy with the beer in one hand and the fooseball handle in the other, with chili-dogs on the grill. This is in-fact, a terrible analogy (and oddly non-space related), but the point I’m trying to make is that Mike is above all else, approachable and honest. And I feel thats what Mike brings to the CSM table that others don’t: an unquestionable openness. He’s got no “agenda”, no power-bloc backing, and no personal pet issues that he’d trying to push through, aside from genuinely wanting to do everything he can to make this a better game.
Sure, Mike’s a gigantic carebear, but he’s probably my favorite one.

I honestly feel that a vote for any of the above three is a vote for the betterment of this game. I’ll be voting for all three with more than a few of my accounts, and I urge you to do the same. Ballots are open, so get out there and vote!
