Thursday Matinée: 100mn AB Legion

Watching Garmon PvP is like watching Bruce Willis beat the shit out of urban terrorists with a rocket launcher and a handgun; it makes absolutely no sense in any capacity, attempting it yourself would end very, very badly, and above all else it is HUGELY entertaining. If John McTeirnan, Sylvester Stallone, and Micheal Bay had baby together, and that baby played Eve, this is pretty close to what it would look like.

I’m going with this video because every now and then, we need a break from the serious to just let loose with something easy; and again, this is basically a Michael Mann movie set in New Eden. Also, since I’m in the market myself for an stupidly pimped-out T3, this just needed to be watched.

Watch as Garmon casually shrugs off the what has to be close to 5,000 DPS on grid while knocking down all comers John Rambo style. This is a true popcorn movie, and just plain fun to watch (plus, that Glee cast version of “Don’t Stop Believing” is hilarious). The video crescendos in one nail-biting “will our hero make it?!” moment when he’s almost through structure, but, like facing Hans Gruber on the 38th floor, there’s always that hidden gun taped to the back, and Garmon never fails to deliver.

Put your feet up and enjoy.

  1. Jebus, look at the missile names. How old is this video?

  2. The only problem I had with that “solo” video, were the purple ships that showed up a number of times in space during the battles.

    • I probably should have included a disclaimer concerning the “solo” tag on there. Yes, there’s definitely off-grid booster(s) at work, and a lot of Garmon vids have the stabbed cloaky transport popping in and out dropping off ammo or cap boosters… v0v. Like I said, its an easy fun watch ;).
